eprotec melt pump optimizes the extrusion process by relieving the pressure build-up on the extruder screw and thus being able to better homogenize. The melt pump generates the required pressure, it relieves the extruder. This reduces the shear, optimizes the melting process and reduces the extruder power consumption.
